Skatepark Sisterhood

Following a group of determined young Ethiopian female skaters as they spread their love of skateboarding, and the liberation it offers, ‘Skatepark Sisterhood’ is a powerful evocation of exuberant youth and advocacy.

Production faced many challenges such as red tape, delayed permits and civil unrest, but the team pulled it off and the film went on to screen at Tribeca Film Festival 2023.
